Year 7 and 8 students gave wonderful performances in their adaptation of ‘The Lion King’
Amongst the many arts activities that our Year 7 and 8 students have undertaken over this past month was rehearsal for a performance of an adaptation of ‘The Lion King’. The performances were outstanding, and we have attached some photos of them in action.
The performance began with a performance from those students who had been learning guitar. They gave a great performance after just four weeks of tuition.
The performances were followed by the opportunity to see some of the static art work that had engaged students for the past four weeks.
The Art kete is another great example of ‘Learn Create Share’. Overall, an inspiring illustration of a group of wonderful students working hard on their journeys towards creative excellence, supported by our school values of Commitment, Achievement, Resilience, and Respect.
And finally a special thank you to the staff who have all gone that extra mile (as they always do) to ensure that our tamariki are the best they can be.
