Creative excellence in the workshop
Year 13 student completes complex creative piece of work
In Year 13 students have to choose a project that is considered to be complex in its design and construction. Over the course of the year, they have to design, project manage, and construct their project by themselves with the support of the teacher. This photo, of a Pool Table project that is in its final stages of completion, was Amaka’s chosen project. In the photo (Amaka on the right) he is seen being assisted by Jakib and Tyson.
The project is a wonderful example of creative excellence, something that requires both creative design and excellent execution, once more an example of our Manaiakalani ‘Learn Create Share’ pedagogy in action. #manahoromaka
