Kia ora koutou. You will be aware that later this week (Thursday) New Zealand transitions to Alert Level 2, and schools re-open on the following Monday 18th.

We look forward to welcoming all of our wonderful rangatahi back to our kura on Monday. Just a couple of points to note:

1. Please do not send your children sooner. Staff will be taking Thursday and Friday to prepare for the following week, and apart from those few who have been in our small Hornby High school bubble, we won’t be able to cater for greater numbers.

2. If your child is at all unwell, please keep her/him at home

3. We do ask that whānau not come on site unless absolutely necessary while we are in Alert Level 2.

4. Our cafe will be operating from Monday, but service will be streamlined to reduce the levels of congregation in the cafe area.

5. We will continue to focus on hygiene, encouraging regular hand washing, and where not practicable the use of hand sanitiser. High touch areas will be sanitised regularly throughout the school day.

Kia tau te mauri
