Return to school under Alert Level Two

By May 14, 2020 No Comments

On Monday and Tuesday of next week we look forward to welcoming students back to our school campus. We have missed them all, their faces, their laughter, their energy.

In order to keep the number and density of students on site down, and hopefully calm the natural anxieties that some will have, in these first few days we are staging the return over two days.

Monday 18th: All Year 7-9 students, and Years 12 and 13 students, will return. Year 7-9 students will start at 8.30 as usual, while Year 12 and 13 students will come in at 11 am. Years 10 and 11 students will remain off site learning from home.

Tuesday 19th: All Year 7-9 students, and Years 10 and 11 students, will be on site, starting at the normal times. Years 12 and 13 will remain off site learning from home.

Wednesday 20th: All students back on site for the start of a normal day.

We would ask all whānau/parents/caregivers to remain off site if at all possible at this time please. If it is essential that you come on site, you must come to the main entrance and sign in so that contact tracing is possible.

Some things about the way we operate on the campus will be a little different, and we will send that information out for you in a separate communication.
