Due to the promotion to Principalship of one of our Deputy Principals and the retirement of a respected long-serving Deputy Principal, an exciting opportunity has become available to join our forward-thinking Senior Leadership Team at Hornby High School.

We seek two experienced and competent senior leaders who have skillfully developed high-performing teams and led change. The successful candidates will have the knowledge, skills, and experience to lead the teaching, learning, assessment or pastoral areas of the school along with other key areas by negotiation.

Supported by an enthusiastic Principal and Board, the opportunity to engage with the school’s leadership development programme is available. You will have a passion for learners achieving their potential, educationally and holistically.

Hornby High School is a large co-educational state school experiencing strong growth, situated in the vibrant heart of Hornby, Christchurch. We are a Manaiakalani Learn, Create, Share school. The incumbent will have the responsibility of leading a variety of annual and strategic plan targets, encompassing both pastoral and academic aspects. We expect strong interest in this position.
