Horomaka Tigers First XV

On Thursday night 11th May, Hornby High School hosted the Horomaka Tigers First XV and Development squad jersey presentation.

We are so proud of this group of young men, who have displayed our school values and been working extremely hard since term 4 last year.

This is an amazing opportunity for our community and is a fine example of working collaboratively with other schools to create better opportunities for our Tamariki.

The Horomaka Tigers played Roncalli College in Timaru. This was an extremely close game and went down 10-3.  Last Saturday we played against Christ College 2nd XV.  It was a great game with the Tigers going down 22-12.

The development team had a tough game against Christchurch Boys High 4th XV going down 55-5.
